Demo budget
You can open a demo budget with sample categories and expenses. It is not created automatically - you enable it when needed. It helps you review the interface, plan/actual/left panel, groups, and filters without entering your own data. When you are ready, create your own month and start real tracking.
Categories: plan, actual, left
For each expense category you see plan, actual, and left. The progress bar shows how much has already been spent. You create your own categories with icons.
Required (fixed) expenses are marked with - so you can immediately see what to cover first.
Category groups
You can combine categories into groups - for example Home, Food, Transport. In the interface you switch between "All" and a specific group: only categories from that group are shown.
Filters
The category list can be narrowed with two filters:
- Required - shows only categories with required (fixed) expenses: rent, utilities, loans. Useful when you need to cover non-deferrable expenses first.
- Unpaid - shows only categories that still have unpaid plan amount (left greater than zero). Helps you see what is left to pay this month.
Manual expense entry
Every expense can be entered manually: date, amount, category. You can edit and delete expense entries in each category.
Voice input
It is convenient to add an expense by voice: say "Groceries 800" - the record appears in the correct category.
Add expense
Two view modes
Categories can be viewed as cards (list) or a compact table.
History by day
All expenses are collected on a separate page by day: date, category, amount. It is convenient to see where money went.
- Groceries 1 200
- Electricity 850
- Transport 800
- Groceries 650
- Pharmacy 400

Category chart
The donut chart shows where your budget goes. You can select a segment and immediately see the category in the legend.

Backups
Your data is stored in your browser. To avoid losing it when switching devices or clearing browser data, you can export a backup file and restore from it when needed.
The file includes all months, categories, plans, and expenses. You can store it wherever you want: on your disk or in your cloud. Restore will load the data back into the service.
You can also save a copy to the server - then when you switch device or browser you can restore data from the server. Up to 10 latest copies are kept - older ones are removed automatically. You can enable auto-backup: once per day on first open the copy is saved to the cloud automatically.
