What is Budget Planner Plus?
It is a web service for personal budget tracking. You set a monthly plan by categories, add actual expenses (manually or by voice), and see what is left for each category and in total. Everything is built around three numbers: plan, actual, left. -
Can I try it for free?
Yes. Click "Sign in" to open the interface and try the service during the trial period. A one-time payment is required after the trial. -
Is it a subscription or a one-time payment?
It is a one-time payment. You pay once and get lifetime access to the service and all future updates. No subscriptions. -
What devices does the service work on?
The service works in a browser on phone, tablet, and desktop. No app store installation is required. -
How do I install the app on my phone?
The service is a PWA (browser app): you can install it on your home screen without an app store. Open the service in your phone browser. On iPhone (Safari): tap the Share button at the bottom and choose "Add to Home Screen". On Android (Chrome): open the menu (three dots) and choose "Install app" or "Add to Home screen". An icon will appear on the home screen - tap it to open the service like an app. On PC or laptop: open the service in Chrome or Edge, click the menu (three dots) in the top-right and choose "Install app" or "Create shortcut" - an icon will appear on the desktop or in the Start menu. -
How do I add expenses by voice?
Open Settings (gear icon). Turn on the "Voice input" toggle, then in the "Voice" section select the speech recognition language from the list. The "Voice" tab will appear on the main screen - tap it, say the category and amount (e.g. "Groceries 25"), and the expense will be added to the chosen category. -
Is there bank integration?
No, and that is intentional. The service does not connect to your bank and does not request access to your accounts. Your card and transaction data never leave your bank. You record only the expenses you choose to track. -
Where is data stored?
By default, data is stored locally in your browser on your device. If needed, you can use cloud or file backup. -
How does cloud backup work?
Cloud backup stores backup copies on the server so they can be restored on another device or after clearing browser data. Up to 10 latest copies are kept, older ones are removed automatically. You can enable auto-backup - then a copy is created automatically once per day on first app open. -
Can I use the app without internet?
Yes. The app works offline, and your data stays on your device. -
How can I transfer data from one device to another?
There is no permanent real-time sync between devices. There are two ways: 1) Via file: on the old device open Settings -> Backup -> Save to file. On the new device open Settings -> Restore from file and select that file. 2) Via cloud: on the old device save a copy to cloud. On the new device open Settings -> Restore from cloud and choose the required copy. -
Why are there no accounts, currencies, or cents?
Budget Planner Plus is focused on simple category-based budget planning, so account and currency tracking is not included. Cents usually have little impact on the overall budget, so we use whole numbers only - it is simpler and faster.
